Earlier today I was surfing the web and stumbled across a mind boggling article. It’s loaded with statistics about today’s teenagers and how they are the “mobile first” generation. If you have a chance, skim the statistics of this article from Olaf Swantee.
Today’s teens are the generators of what is ‘normal’ tomorrow. My favorite stat Swantee uses is, “74% of teens ages 12-17 say they access the internet on mobile phones, tablets, and other mobile devices at least occasionally.”
For everyone on Save Local Now…11% of teens admit to using mobile devices to make buying decisions. That number will only rise as they grow older. What does this mean for businesses? It’s time to get crackin’ if your business isn’t mobile optimized.
